17 meters of collector roads in four islands of Thousand Islands have been repaired.

Thousand Islands Vice Regent, Junaedi informed the details about repaired collector roads; 1 thousand meters collector roads in Panggang Island, 9 thousand meters in Pramuka Island, 2 thousand meters in Tidung Island, and 5 thousand meters in Untung Jawa Island.

"Alhamdulillah, collector road repair can be finished on time," he expressed during the evaluation meeting at Mitra Praja Office, Thursday (11/28).

Collector Road Maintenance Process in Four Islands Reaches 25 Percent

According to him, his side also finished repairing facilities in Amiterdam RPTRA, Untung Jawa Island such as playground, reading room, toilet, ceiling and damaged parts of the building.

Not only in Amiterdam RPTRA, but his side also finished repairing several facilities in Tanjung Elang Berseri RPTRA in Pramuka Island and Tanjong Timur RPTRA in Panggang Island.

According to him, Waste Water Treatment Installation (IPAL) construction especially for piping system that will connect household drain (SR) is now just reached 70 percent, including Karya Island gateway construction of North Thousand Islands.

He hopes all the construction can be useful for residents and support tourism sector in Thousand Islands as this region is selected as the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN).

He is also optimistic that good coordination between related UKPDs can solve all problems in the field.

"We asked them to finish it before contract period expires or if needed, they can expand its period to finish the construction as soon as possible," he asserted.
